Daniel-Kim

Daniel Kim, BA

Daniel Kim recently graduated from Cornell University majoring in chemistry and religious studies and is currently working with Dr. Wong’s lab at Beckman Laser Institute and Dr. Hill’s lab at Occidental College. In his free time, he enjoys reading theology, e-biking (but not regular biking), and drinking copious amounts of Diet Coke.

Lauren Liu, BA

Lauren Liu is a second-year medical student at the University of California, Irvine with an interest in otolaryngology. She is currently working with Dr. Brian Wong. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Religion and Chemistry. Her hobbies include reading, playing board games, hiking, and exploring new places!

Ellen-Hong

Ellen Hong, BA

Ellen Hong is a fourth-year medical student at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine applying into otolaryngology. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Classics, minoring in Human Biology. She completed a research fellowship at the University of California, Irvine with Dr. Brian Wong. In her free time, Ellen enjoys knitting, weightlifting, and bouldering.

Milind-Vasudev

Milind Vasudev, BS

Milind Vasudev is a fourth-year medical student at the University of California, Irvine. He earned his B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA and completed a research fellowship under Dr. Brian Wong at the UCI Beckman Laser Institute. Milind is currently applying for residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing pick-up basketball, and exploring new restaurants.

Jonathan-Pang

Jonathan Pang, BS

Jonathan is a fourth-year medical student at the University of California, Irvine interested in applying into otolaryngology. His research delves into skull base surgery outcomes, head and neck cancer metabolism, and global surgery. To help address health disparities locally, he co-founded a clinical observership program for undergraduate students who are underrepresented in medicine and developed a mobile app addressing food insecurity by leveraging food waste redistribution efforts. Jonathan enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new cuisines, and keeping up with San Francisco Bay Area sports.

Zoe Hsiao

Zoe Hsiao, BA

Zoe Hsiao is a third-year medical student at the University of California, Irvine. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in Asian American studies. Her hobbies include running, reading, and cooking.

Cynthia Tsang, BS

Cynthia Tsang is a third-year medical student at the University of California, Irvine. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BS in Human Biology and Society and a minor in Education. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, completing puzzles, and reading.

Asher-Park

Asher Park, BS

Asher Park is a third year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine interested in otolaryngology. Prior to medical school, he conducted research under Dr. Brian Wong at the UC Irvine Beckman Laser Institute. Asher completed his bachelor’s degree in Biological Science at UC Santa Barbara, and in his free time enjoys all things volleyball and camping.

Elizabeth Lee, BA

Elizabeth Lee is a medical student at California University of Science and Medicine interested in otolaryngology. Currently in her research year, she is conducting research under Dr. Brian Wong at the UC Irvine Beckman Laser Institute. Elizabeth completed her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys reading, eating, and barre.
