Head & Neck Cancer Surgery
Surgery for head and neck cancers is typically the first treatment performed. For many patients, surgery is best combined with other approaches, such as chemotherapy and radiation.
Laser surgery, laryngectomy (including total and partial), vocal cord stripping, pharyngectomy, tracheotomy, and lymph node removal are examples of surgical procedures that may be performed in order to manage head or neck cancers. These procedures are designed to eliminate the source of cancer while restoring as much function as possible.
Our commitment is to perform surgical procedures with a minimally invasive technique whenever possible, in order to reduce healing time.
